The Greatest Power!
We use it every time we get out of bed. We use it every time we go to work. We use it every time we pick up the phone. We use it every time we do anything. We use it everyday. Do you know what the greatest power is? Did you know that each and everyone of us have that power? What is it? It is the power to CHOOSE.
Think about this for a minute. Each day when you wake up you may feel like you have to go to work. Most people do have a job and go to work. But I learned a long time ago that going to work is a choice. In fact, everything in life is a choice. We may feel like we have to go to work but it really is a choice. You could choose to not go to work and not make any money. It’s obviously a better choice to go to work than not, but it’s still a choice.
And just like it’s a choice to go to work we can choose what kind of attitude we’re going to have today and everyday. We can choose to be happy or grumpy. We can choose to be upset or get angry if things don’t go our way or we can choose to look at problems as opportunities to learn from. From the moment we wake up the only thing we have to do is make choices. We choose what we’re gong to wear that day, who we hang out with, what we eat, who we accept phone calls from and the list goes on and on.
We have the power to choose so many things that affect our lives. What’s amazing is that there are hundreds of doctors across the United States that acknowledge the majority of what people get sick from and most eventually die are from lifestyle choices. These are the things you choose to eat and drink everyday. I have taught my kids from very early on that for example candy, soda, snack foods taste good but are not good for you. The less you eat or drink of these the better your health will be. I just read about a three year old little girl that started having ear pain and the pediatrician thought it was an ear infection. After a couple of months and different anti-biotics this little girl developed several other symptoms. At one point she became seriously ill and was hospitalized for eight weeks. She had Cat Scans, MRI’s, spinal taps, blood work, urinalysis, and was put on many different prescription drugs. Her parents incurred $30,000 in medical bills and the doctors still did not have a definite diagnosis. You can read the whole amazing story at Dr Janet Hull’s website www.askdrhull.com. The culprit was NutraSweet (aspartame) which also goes by the name of Equal. It was one of the main ingredients in their little girls’ chewable multi-vitamin. She was also consuming sugar-free yogurt which contained NutraSweet. She would occasionally sneak sips from her parents’ sugar free sodas.
You may be thinking the little three year old girl did not have a choice about what she was consuming. But now that her parents are aware of the dangers of those artificial sweeteners and you can rest assured they will be monitoring and reading food and drink labels very closely. What about you? I know for many of you reading this article this is not something new. But, many of you reading this bought into giant chemical companies’ stories that these artificial sweeteners were safe. They must be. They were approved by the FDA. The FDA would not allow something that is not safe to be approved. Would they? If you still believe we can trust the FDA or the government, think back in time. Tobacco was actually promoted back in the 50’s by actors dressed as doctors stating that smoking was good for the digestion. If you hear a lie often enough you will accept it as truth. Our past is filled with lawsuits and cases won against tobacco, pesticides, vaccines, fluoride, and many pharmaceutical drugs. I sincerely hope that if you were not aware of all this insanity and greed you now will accept this information as truth and realize that money talks and that we cannot depend on the government or the FDA to protect the little people. They protect the companies with the big money. Oil, chemical, pharmaceutical, insurance and food are some of the companies that have the largest special interest groups in Washington and spend the most amounts of money in campaign contributions to protect themselves.
Now that you are aware of this information or needed a little reminder what can you do? Spread the truth. Share your story. It is surprising how many people have similar stories like I have shared with you here in this article. Most importantly, stop thinking that since a little Splenda or whatever sugar substitute you use hasn’t caused you any health problems, it must be OK. Don’t wait and see. Don’t become a victim of kidney cancer or some other health problem later on down the road. You have the greatest power in the world, to choose. Decide and commit to make healthier choices. The number one cause of death today is no longer heart disease. It is cancer. Most cases of cancer are preventable through lifestyle choices. Most cases of heart diseases are also because of poor lifestyle choices. There’s that powerful word again, choices. Make it your friend and not your enemy. By making better informed and well educated lifestyle choices, you are choosing to live a healthier, happier and longer life.

You are absolutely right. Most folks in the U.S. are victims of media advertising abuse. They are trained by the multinational food and pharmaceutical industries to choose to believe false claims that lead to a healthier and happier life. If you dare decide to think for yourself and, question or doubt a company’s product claims, you are called a troublemaker. Or worse, you may be ‘labeled’ with one of today’s modern emotional illnesses.
Humans are sensitive and can be programmed to react in certain ways, if they hear the same message over and over again. After a while it becomes an ingrained belief within them. Mandatory health care being imposed upon the masses does not, indeed, create a healthier nation.
Thanks for your comment Brenda. We have A LOT of REPROGRAMMING to do for those that are ready to hear the truth!
